Stages of becoming a Structural Integration Practitioner
1.Structural Bodyworker. 2. Structural Integration Practitioner
There is a process of unwinding a body to bring it back into natural grace and alignment. Those qualified as Structural Integration Practitioners have learnt the full series of sessions taught by their school. Each school does this differently. Some schools train you to part way through the process where you become a Structural Bodyworker and are given time to take a number of clients through a shorter sequence of sessions. This is a vital part of learning for the bodyworker offering an understanding of structure and function.
It is not until a bodyworker has done the full training do they master the art of Structural Integration. All practitioners listed on this site are fully trained and accredited in Structural Integration.
Practitioners once qualified can join the Membership Association; the International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI). They can also take a written exam to become Board Certified Structural Integrator (CM) and carry BCSI (CM) after their name. Those who are registered with IASI must complete annual Continuing Education courses to remain registered. Each Training School offers advanced classes and qualifications to further a practitioners knowledge and technique.
There are a number of Schools Worldwide who train people to become Structural Integration Practitioners. Listed below are the schools and the qualification students carry after graduation. Those schools currently recognised and compliant with IASI's current educational standards have a next to them.
