Event Description
During this intensive training, you will learn basic information about the method, which will prepare you to start the full Basic Structural Integration Training, but will also allow you to understand what the IS process is.
Structural Integration Intro is an introductory course to the 2-year basic training in the Structural Integration (IS) method.
The course is open to anyone interested in this way of working, regardless of whether you are a physiotherapist, trainer, masseur or bodywork enthusiast. Particularly recommended for people who want to complete training in Structural Integration using Dr. Rolf's method.
Structural Integration is a type of body work that includes soft tissue manipulation, movement education and awareness training. The method was developed by Dr. Ida Rolf in the 1950s. It is based on the idea that body structure and alignment can be improved by manipulating the fascial tissue surrounding muscles and other organs.
During this intensive 15-hour course, you will learn basic information about the method that will prepare you to start the full Basic Structural Integration Training, but also allow you to understand what the IS process is.
The classes will also include a practical part, during which participants will learn the basics of postural analysis and practice the first therapeutic session.
The course is conducted by two Structural Integration practitioners: Michał Dzierzgwa and Grzegorz Jędrzejewski.
