We are the school where changing lives becomes a reality. At the heart of the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute® is a dedication to the discipline of Structural Integration, a form of holistic manual therapy that focuses on the fascia. Pioneered by Dr. Ida Rolf in the 1970s, the ten-session approach she developed is the core of this rapidly growing field in the bodywork sphere. Her founding philosophy and practice of aligning the body in gravity continue to underpin our dynamic and multi-modal curriculum today. As a thought leader in somatic therapy, our passion is teaching how to positively change lives, building a community of caring practitioners who can guide others in discovering a way to move with ease.
The Rolfing® SI Certification Program is the core learning program for the discipline of Rolfing Structural Integration, based on the foundational teachings of Dr. Ida P. Rolf. This comprehensive program delivers the fundamental knowledge and skills to those wishing to become Certified Rolfers® and sets the benchmark for the high standards we hold to, for Rolfing practitioners worldwide. You will LearnAnatomy, Physiology, and Kinesiology from the perspective of Rolfing® SIThe principles of Rolfing Structural IntegrationHow to conduct a complete Rolfing® Ten-Series and Rolf Movement® sessionHow to recognize structural and functional patternsThe ability to differentiate through touchPractice building techniquesProfessional ethicsPhase I - UA3.25- GA Dates: January 15th to April 11th, 2025 *Dates if transferring in hours: start date TBD to April 11th, 2025 **Classes will run Wednesday through Sunday, twice per month (final schedule TBD) Instructor(s): Neal Anderson, Libby Eason, & John Schewe Phase II - UB3.25-GA Dates: April 30 - May 4, 2025 (Principles week) May 15 - August 10, 2025 Instructor(s): TBD Phase III - UC2.25-GA Dates: September 10 - September 14, 2025 (Anatomy Week) September 25 - December 21, 2025 Instructor(s): TBD
